Once again Rimmel does not disappoint they have amazed me. I have little to barely there eyelashes and this mascara gave them a makeover. I always apply mascara applying from bottom to top as my first coat, then from the middle to top as a second coat, and the very top as my last coat. Most of the time with alot of mascara this is not possible for me to do because it will end up clumping.  I started with one coat and it gave me great length and volume. Than my second coat and my eyelashes grew more. The last coat my eyelashes fanned out. I was in disbelieve. I went to work that same day and I had someone ask me if I have falsies the way they looks.  This has been my go to mascara for a week. I even wear it bare when I don't want nothing else on my eyes and it looks so beautiful.  This is a great mascara at a great price at only $5.99

I have been testing this baby out for a week and I have finally came to the verdict that I LOVE IT!!   Honestly this is the best foundation I have tried for my skin. The texture of this foundations is creamy and just a small amount is all that is needed.  Automatically I can tell the difference, I only did half of my face to compare.When I first put this on me I was like the color is a little off but once it set in it blended very well. My pores were smaller and it gave me in my opinion full coverage I didn't even have to use concealer at all. I have combinations skin so that means that my face can be very oily, dry around my nose and eyebrows  I also have dark circles. So with alot of foundation my face ends up a oily shiny mess in hours and reveals everything I tried to cover. But this was so different it kept my face under control. I felt like nothing was on my face no tightening feeling, it didn't rub off on my phone, and last longer than most foundations I have tried.  It did great for me. It didnt sit on top of my dry skin. The one this that really amazed me was that it covered up all those annoying little black heads that I had on  my nose.  It was like they were not even there.

 I have to say that I will be purchasing this again. This will definitely be my go to.

 Once again I recieved Dr. Scholl's® For Her High Heel Insoles via Influenster. I first want to start off by saying that I have not had a good experience with Dr. Scholls insoles before. I have the ones that just go in the toe area previously used them for a party I went to last year and had a issue. So I was very skeptical to use them once again. The first thing that I noticed was that they were thinner than previous ones I have seen. Also it was full size for heel to toe. I once again tried these for my heels and had trouble getting my foot in with the cushion.  It was painful wearing my heels, I just couldn't take it. So I was thinking that these insoles are just not meant for my feet type. I have wide 7 1/2 to 8 size feet. I just turned away from them and decided they are not for me.

So this past Saturday I was getting ready for another party and was wearing wedges for it. I saw the insoles just seating there and felt so bad. I was like I'm going to try them again. So they fit much better in the wedges than heels for me. They helped me from not slipping everywhere in them. I guess this product is a SO-SO for me. I don't hate it but I guess it just depends on the shoe and how a person foot is. Will I try this again probably not. But at least it was less painful than my previous situation.

I received Goody Ouchless Ribbon Elastic via Influenster to test. I first glance I was like whats is this I never seen it before. It was like a piece of ribbon was a knot at the end than I noticed that it was extremely stretchy. They come in a packet of 5 in different colors.  I have short wavy shoulder length hair and didn't know what to do with it at first than I started to play with it. I fell in love, I have been using them everyday since. They hold my hair so well. I always have a problem with hair elastics. I can never put them tight enough without them snapping. With this I was able to do loose pony tails side and high buns and not worry about my hair going anywhere or worrying about it breaking.

Another thing that I have learned to love about this elastic is that I can carry it with me right on my arm with out marks or pressure on my wrist. Its like wearing a bracelet. So I had found something new that I really liked and now I am seeing them everywhere in so many more colors. I will be recommending this to alot of friends and family.

Olay Fresh Effect (BB cream)

Let me start off by saying that this is the very first BB cream that I have ever used. I have always wanted to try it but never found that it was something that I needed or would like. So to be able to try it and no prove myself wrong was a great experience. I will continue to buy this product.

The first day that I tried this it was before going to work. I was going out to eat afterwards so I decided ok perfect I can try this with my makeup on. At first I didn't really notice any difference. So i added concealer in some spots. I liked that it helped with my dry spots on my face. With the weather changing my face tends to get dry. After awhile I felt like it was heavy on my face and I felt like I was wearing a mask. After a few hours I noticed that my face was getting more greasy than usual. I just felt uncomfortable wearing it. 

This Saturday I gave it ago again. I learned that my biggest mistake with the product was that I didn't cleanse my face before using it. This proved to be very effective for the whole day. After cleansing I put it on and it was like my face transformed. My skin was even and my redness gone. You can still see my pimples because they are so red but compared to before it was a whole lot better.  I used way less concealer just on the three pimples on my face and applied the rest of my makeup as usual.  My face looked natural and healthy

Four hours later my the cream was still working and this time was not heavy on my face. My day took an unexpected turn when I was invited to a pool party. So got myself ready and didn't think of anything. I got wet and didn't even remember i was wearing makeup. My eye make up ran before anything else. I still had a healthy glow. The BB cream did not go anywhere I actually forgot I had it on. I wiped down my eyes and continued to have fun in the water.

After the sun has set and gone I was tanned and red.  Except where I usually get red where is on my cheeks and around my nose. The BB cream really worked in the sunscreen department.

My verdict for this product is I will be repurchasing and this is my brand new go to. When used properly ( I mean cleansing first) it is the most amazing product I have tried. It helped me with my seasonal dry spots on my face. Sunscreen really worked in protecting my skin and lasting throughout the day and events. My face looked naturally with that summer glow all day and I didn't feel like I was wearing makeup at all. The cream felt like a second skin.  The color blended in perfectly, didn't looked caked, smoothed out and even my skin. My skin even felt soft and looked even better after taking my makeup off before bed.

The Taste: Tuesday at 8|7c on ABC

There's a new show on ABC "The Taste". When I first saw the commercial I was like "oh great another cooking show". Its all part of this trend that if one thing comes out and it does good another person takes the idea and try to make its money from it. I wasn't interested, I wasn't sold. Until one day I was watching Once Upon a Time and saw that Anthony Bourdain was in it. I watched his show all the time when it was on the travel channel so I was like why not. I went on demand started watching the first episode. I prepared myself to make a bias opinion and not like it. I told myself I'm going to be bored after like the first ten minute.

Than BAM!!! I found myself lost in it. In my opinion it was like watching X-Factor or American Idol (or what it use to be) but with food. Here is how it goes. There are four mentor Anthony Bourdain, Nigella, Ludo, and Marlarkey (Love this name by the way makes me giggle). They pick people by the taste of their dish. They don't see who it is or know whats in it. If more than one of them chooses one person to be on their team than that person has the choice of who's team they want to be in. Do I make sense yet? lol. Each mentor has about 16 cooks in their team. This whole selection process reminds me of The Voice, which I like by the way.  From there they face team and individual challenges. What I like is that when they make their individual dishes its a blind taste test again. So the mentors are clueless of who made the dish or even if its someone from their own team. I find it fair and unbiased like most shows I have seen before that's what makes it different.

So my opinion of the show, I love it. The mentors are great they have all different personalities, funny, and entertaining to watch them judge. Especially between Ludo and Marlarkey. They seem very genuine and down to earth. I love that they have fun and challenge their team. You never know what to expect with each passing episode. I have caught up and been watching this show since.  There's drama, comedy, and all around entertainment. You have all types of dishes, things you never knew would go together. Not everyone on the show are professionals. Some are home cooks or just food bloggers. Its very diverse I love it. Its about the taste not the presentation. You can make anything look pretty, but its a great talent to make it taste wonderful. Can't wait for Tuesday's episode at 8pm.

Head and shoulders damage rescue

I was lucky enough to be chosen to try out head and shoulders damage rescue shampoo and conditioner via Influenster.  I have been trying it out for a week and a half now. I have naturally wavy hair which curls in some parts. I have always been a victim of frizz, dead ends, dandruff in the winter and oily hair after just one day. I have tried so many things and nothing really worked. After just one week of using this I have to say my hair has come back to life. I was even able to wear my hair naturally without any products in it for the first time in years. This has tamed down my hair so much that I have to wash it less. I use to have Ro wash my hair every other day. Now I only had to wash it twice in a week. I conditioned it just once. The shampoo alone is great.
The only thing is that on the bottle it says that its gentle enough for even colored hair. I have to say I find it to be false. I have colored strips in my hair and it did take some of the color off. On the other hand this is a great product and I will be repurchasing again. My boyfriend even loves it he says it makes his hair feel really cleaned.
